The Best Choclit Brownies in the world
Makes 24, easily doubled
150g (5oz) Butter
125g (4oz) dark choclit, I use Green and Blacks 70%
3 eggs
375g (12oz) caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
125g (4oz) plain flour - although I use SR if nothing in and comes out fine!
30g (1oz) cocoa powder
Oven 180 degrees C gas 4 of 350 degrees F
20cm square tine, greased and lined
Melt choclit and butter over pan of water, leave to cool slightly
Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla together and then add choclit and mix
Stir in sifted flour and cocoa
Do not overbeat, this stage is best done by a small child as flour jumps out of bowl and makes a gooier brownie. Bake for 40 mins ish.
