A scorcher today max temp today 30 – we added an extra loop up to Stanford Bridge.
I didn’t have enough water today so struggled towards the end – the hill past the quarry really took it out of me 
This is awesome – I nearly crashed my car listening to this! 
looks like they work! average speed is up a bit and it was blowing a gale!
A very hard 81 miles with 17 climbs! 2865m of climbing in fact.
Snake Pass was a worry but in reality was the easiest of them all and rewarded us with a cracking descent 49.7mph just missed breaking the speed limit!

Another fast one (for me that is!)
It’s a shame the bloody Garmin decided to miss of 2.5 miles – seemed to stop itself after my chain fell off whilst going for the big ring. probably a sign the push rod needs a service, hope it holds out for this weekends sportive ride in the peaks.
